Help with turbo back delete please-

I just finished installing my 5" turbo back exhaust and installed my smarty me on the truck. I have ran out of time so I wanted to ask- Can I drive my truck for work tomorrow with the egr and cooler still hooked up to the truck or do I have to delete it all before I can drive it?
Thanks

Just follow the instructions on what Smarty tells you to do for the egr. The cooler will be fine until you get time to take it off.

I have went through my paperwork and also looked on mads website but don't see any information about what to do for the egr.

Do I just need to unplug the egr? Will the smarty take care of the code?
Thanks

Did you download the instructions from Mad's website showing you how to disable the EGR valve?
Here is the link. http://www.madselectronics.com/CodeF...EGRDelete.html
If you follow this the cooler can be left on and removed at a later date. I am still running my cooler on the truck. The smarty has been installed for at least 30K miles with the cooler still on the truck.

Yes, just follow the instructions like Jim W provided to you, and it is very simple for the EGR. You can leave the cooler in without any issue. Just inplug the cooler servo motor. For the EGR servo motor, you should leave that plugged in electrically. It is really the only item then should stay plugged in. However, the instructions show you how to unbolt the EGR motor very easily and pull out the actuating plunger. This is all you need to do and you are good to go.

Thanks for the help. I ended up taking off work for a few hours and finished the complete delete kit. What a difference it makes. Wish I had done it sooner.
