Well, what plans do you have for the truck? Do you have any mods on it yet? I put a big 6" tip on mine which makes the truck just slightly louder. I also installed an AFE drop in filter which has stopped the minder from pulling halfway down so it must be flowing better.
I've seen plenty of posts from guys running an MP8 and/or Edge box on their 6.7s and lots of guys claim miraculous mileage gains while others claim no mileage gain at all. Kinda makes me think some of them are going by the overhead instead on hand calcing their numbers. If it were me, and I'm not saying I am because I have vowed not to modify this truck , I'd stick that money away and wait for the Smarty to come out for the 6.7s.........

Besides an FS-2500, I didn't know what to add, just something that would help on fuel. The truck isn't hauling anything to heavy just yet, got a small pop-up camper,, or I pull either a 79 ramcharger or a sami. so nothing crazy and Its used as a daily driver. Thanks for the input.

I would put the money towards the Dynatrac part time kit.

Muffler deletes are worthless on 6.7s. They sound exactly the same since the muffler is straight through. All the junk in front of the muffler would have to go before you would hear any difference....

I'm looking for something along the 600 dollar rang, I might as well use it on something for my truck that will help it perform better. Won't go with the DPF delete until after warranty or fuel prices get to where I cannot afford them anymore and I have to run a high blend of homebrew

What I'd do.... (not necessarily in the following order)
1. put it in the bank, wait for the smarty to be released
2. Pusher pump with 2 micron filtration. (Glacier, Fass, Airdog)
3. .357 for the center console.

hahah!! lots of good choices and info!!! its definatley going into the truck, currently its all stock so I have no edge juice or anything like that as of yet. So what is the difference between edge juice, Smarty, and bully dog? and which one would be better. I'm not to worried about exhaust, its still under warranty and putting an exaust kit from DPF back wouldn't do anything, at least I wouldn't think it would.
