So my last truck I owned was a 2005 brand new lifted quad cab, 6 speed manual, 5.9, with a Ts ramifier and a tst powermax CR. I loved that truck, had no issues, got 17.8 hand calculated miles average, on 37's. Sadly we had to part.

Now I'm looking at a high mileage 175k 2009 2500 megacab with a 6 speed. Bone stock. What do I need to know? Am I going to be disappointed? With mileage? Power?

Dealer is asking, 25k, truck is stock other than bed liner and doesn't have the and whistles.

I just went from an 01 2500 to an 09 3500. Do the deletes with a tuner. Gets better MPG, and more get up & go.

Those 2008-2010 trucks hold their value. 25k seems like reasonable price for 175k. See if you can get him down to 20k. I would also check out True Car to see what others are paying in your area to get an idea if you are paying too much.
