Talking Finally, new tires. Mickey Thompson ATZ P3 Hybrid!

Well, I've been needing tires for awhile now. The truck came with Nitto Terra Grapplers but I was wanting something more aggressive. While I prefer the mud tire look, I opted for a new "Next Gen Hybrid" tire. I ended up with 35x12.50x20 Mickey Thompson ATZP3 tires, load range E. I really like the look of them. They were just installed yesterday so I'll have to keep you informed on how they perform. Sorry for the bad pics but wanted to get a few on here tonight. As you can see in the last pic, we are kind of partial to CTD's

Thanks!

So far I like them, they ride good and are quiet.

Those look like a good compromise between mud AT and MT.
You need to lower the pressure in those rear tires to about 35-40 if you're running empty. Look at how much of the tread isn't even in contact with the road! it's a PITA to adjust for empty or loaded running, but I routinely got 60k out of my mudders being **** about the pressure, and at $300+ per tire it was WELL worth it to me

Thanks, yeah i want these to last! I let the rears down to 45 the night I took the pics. I guess I'll go ahead and lower them a little more though. How much would you recommend in the fronts?

No problem. At the price of tires these days it makes sense to maximize everything! I run 60psi in my fronts (285/75r-17 Nitto Terra Grapplers) on stock wheels. My normal practice is to run the max pressure and see how the tread sits on the ground (by looking for the clean strips at the outer edge of the tread). I'll lower them 5psi at a time until they are running nice and flat. Once you have your numbers for empty and loaded it's just a matter of checking them monthly, looking at them as you approach your truck and adjusting them if you're changing your load.
