Engine stumbles

Hey... just wondering if anyone out there with these 6.7's have had issues with the engine do a little stumble as the heater grid goes into its cycling. I've brought it up to the head diesel mechanic (who I know personally) at my local dealership and he says he's not heard of such a thing.

It's done it ever since I bought it new and it seems that it only does it on the coldest of days. Meaning - there are days when the heater grid does its thing and I don't have the engine stumble. Seems more noticeable when the amps drop. It's just something I've learned to live with, but I couldn't find mention of it here.

I notice it with my 5.9l. On mine it seems to just be the alternator loading up the engine at idle. It only does it when the grid heater cycles on and initially loads up the alternator.

Yeah, not that I'm overly concerned about it. My '95 never did it. Go figure.
