EGR delete kits
EGR delete kits
So my turbo took a dump and I'm thinking about doing the deletes when I replace it. While I've been looking at the various delete kits I've seen some of the EGR deletes with a block off plate and some with a bypass hose. Would it be better to block that passage off or run the bypass hose? I've seen some people say that when blocking that passage off it created a hot spot and possible coolant flow issues. Thanks for any suggestions.

The kit I got had no hose (HS) but it was so simple to add one I figured it could not hurt. I used the left over brass plug to stopper the pre-turbo crank vent hole and ran a hose from the crankcase vent down to a hole in the frame.
