Best mileage

The best mileage I have ever had was 20.3 MPG, once when we were not towing the 5er out in Cody WY. Most of the time I normally see 16 MPG since the only time I am on the interstate is when we tow the 5er going someplace. This mileage will include towing and just driving around after uh-hooking the 5er. If I have a long tow and need to fill-up with the 5er attached I will normally see 12 MPG just towing.
My TV is in my signature and I normally just drive between 60 and 70 MPH.

I can do 21-22 at 65-70mph since deleting. I was stuck at 19 or so before I installed all the goodies.

I post only in USMPG. It looks much better in IMP gallons but not for most of the users here in US gallons.
MDKRam air you ask? Well its a little project that MDKRam took on to fab up a more robust air snorkle (PSM style) from the bottom of the air box to the road. Instead of using thin RV sewer hose, its a chunk of Vacuum Truck hose 4"dia with a machined aluminum collar for the air box. I had some photos somewhere on it.

I have a 2008 with deletes, cold air intake, and running all amsoil everywhere, with 285 17 tires. when I put the bigger tires on mileage suffers, with the 285's on I just recently got a bonifide 22mpg in a 3500 going over Colorado's passes on I-70. out on the flats I have gotten a high of 24 and that's running 70 to 80. My wife is even amazed, the mods paid for themselves in fuel savings in one year.
Black Maxx with back pipe, all deletes.

Chuck with H&S had me use the most up to date for the model Dodge I have, whatever the website has is what he recommends. If that hadn't done the trick they had me give them any error messages and talked me into a screen on my monitor that would have given them some insight as to possible egt sensor still hooked up, and other issues. This was not the case. it is an individual process from what I can tell. He also had me let the guy that installed the tuner do it for warranty purposes. Two big things that I have found affecting fuel mileage, whatever setting you put it on don't hammer it like ya stole it. Accelerate and decelerate in moderation. Tire size is the other big one, if I put on the mudders mileage suffers if I run the 285 17's I get in the 20's all day long unless it's around town, and still I get better than an old Toyota V6 I used to own.

22.5 with tapered load in bed and running 67 MPH. 20.5 with 16 ft utility trailer and tapered load. It sure is nice to hang in the wind for 600 miles and low fuel light not smiling at you for last 50 miles.

egt delete and dpf hanging in the shed like some boa constrictor that swallowed a calf and a goat. had problems too until I plugged the fuel rail and pulled the CCV filter and put a plug on the turbo intake. Guess the engineering that drops burned particulate into the crankcase and feeds oily crap into the turbo intake made no sense. When I worked at Boeing I used to ask the engineers this question, "now just what the heck were you thinkin on that day".
