Talking All right, I bit....

I had told myself to keep it stock. Oh, well. Sometime ago I had gotten a Hypertech Econ for my F-N-L's '08 6.7. When I tried it on mine I had found that it came with a nice suprise. It had the 3 level Max Energy tuning. Being the honest (hindsight=) I called Hypertech tech support and informed them of what I had found. Since it wasn't for mine, and being in fear of it causing damage to his DPF I had them fix the software to the A & B fuel programming it was supposed to have. At the time I was assured that these programs were not similar and were specific to each programmer; either the Econ or the Max Energy. It has come to light and now they will even tell you that the Econ is just the first two levels of the Max Energy. Also, now I can pay to have it put back to the original way it had came. I had been trying lately to sell this on here in the classifieds with no luck. The F-N-L didn't like all the timing clatter anyway and now it's mine. So I contacted the guys at Hypertech, paid the $100 upgrade fee, and now the Max Energy is on my truck. I'll do some more writing on it as I live with it, but so far it's a nice addition.

I do wish it didn't take so long to program. I understand that it is a big file on these 6.7's but sometimes it takes 10-14 minutes.

In cold weather the timing addition added to the already increased factory software makes for a very noisy truck until it gets up to temp.

Congrats! I'm not running a programmer on mine but I will one day when the warranty is out. Just going to do intake and exhaust for now. It's already so much more power than my HEMI was so I'm extatic with it just being stock for now

We de-badged a BlueTec truck last month and it sure woke up the doggy 6.7L - sounds much better and runs a lot harder... gonna be beastly when the S67 shows up.

I got it running on high now. It's only 85 at the wheels but it's a NICE addition. I added the deep pan before hand, so fluid inspecs will be easier.
