6.7L exhaust question

6.7L exhaust question
I saw on youtube today that several people have straight piped their 6.7L cummins and somehow bypassed the DPF. A friend of mine has one and wants to straight it and I was wondering if anyone had heard of this being done or has done it themselves. If so, how do you go about bypassing the DPF. Thanks
