08 valve train?

I just recently purchaced an 08 with 80K on it. I have a question about setting the valves or rocker clearence. What is the intake and exhaust suppose to be? Also has anyone done it. Reason for asking on my 04 I have done some head work and reset the rocker clearence and the motor on that is wisper quiet in the valve train while running. but in the 08 there is some noise coming from it and i am kinda sure it is the valve lash. Not a huge noise just a faint noise like they could be a touch loose. On my 04 it has the specs right on the valve cover but on the 08 there is nothing.

Thanks,

Justin

Justin, there are many threads on these forums that describe the process, and many people have done it themselves. A search will give you the specs and procedure. Usually not needed at that low milage, but it won't hurt to check. Again, nice looking truck.

I understand that, I know how to set valves just wondering if some one has done it and what the tolerence was. I found out on another forum were people help instead of saying use the search function.
I checked my 04 at 50k and they were way off.

wow.
Good point Gator.
Justin, you'll find everyone on this site is absolutely terrific when it comes to helping each other out. SOmetimes looking up stuff through the search you can learn more from that than from just getting answer from a couple guys.
If you're not happy with the replys you get here, I suggest you use your other site. The people here are some of the nicest people I've ever talked to in my life, online and off.
Have a great day
Oh, and your truck is pretty Bad A**

I agree tons of great info here, The search function usualy answers my question 90% of the time but when there is a specific detail I can't find on the forum I start a thread on it.
