Question Is your Banks blowing injectors

I have an 04 with a banks Speed Loader and I have had 2 cracked injectors. Any body know of good, strong after-market injectors that would hold up?

Welcome to the website!

I would recommend DonM's F-1 Injectors. My Son has had them in his 2004 Dodge CTD CR for over three years now with no problems whatsoever. Don is a "Banner Advertiser" here on DTR and has several dealers that can help you like Tim Barber from "TRE Diesel" or Lloyd Millls @ "Mid-Atlantic Diesel Performance." Both of these guys are very nice to deal with, they are very knowledgeable and can help you out.

Check out their banners at the top of our forum pages.

why would that be? it's the increased pressure that causes the injector issues, and banks only bumps it up a small amount, especially compared to the more aggressive fueling boxes out there. for some reason, most of the times i've heard of banks electronics causing issues, it's with motor homes. most CTD owners who complain about banks electronics, say they're too mild, with too many safeguards.

Banks is a low stress box and I doubt it is causing you problem.

I'm thinking you have a problem with your FCA or a wiring problem. Does the truck rattle pretty loudly?

I'd look at contaminated fuel as a likely cause. Tac

Also put a good 2micron filtration kit on it like one from GDP. The factory 7 micron or whatever it is just doesn't give me piece of mind.

Same here, i run lots of diesel from different fuel vendors through my slip tank and having the 2 micron kit on my truck definately gives me piece of mind if I get some dirty fuel...
