All I heard was good also. My delete pipe should be here tomorrow. I'm hoping to do the change out as soon as I can. Depending on the weather.
I checked around town here and the local muffler shops wanted between $125.00 to $!50.00 to do the job. I figure order online and a little while on my back saves me extra cash and I know the job is done right....

You will need a grinder, or something to cut the stock muffler piping...

I hope your happy with it.. Like most said empty the sound was great.. but it wasn't enjoyable when towing, horrible drone and volume. I didn't even like to cruise empty above 2K rpms.

I may end up doing something else if the drone is to bad. But for now I have to try it.
Getting it off won't be any problem..
I've got a Hot Saw and a really Big Hammer!

Thumbs up

I have it on mine and like it. I'm a bit of a gear head so I like the more aggressive big-rig sound it gives, especially when towing.

Used an angle grinder to cut the stock muffler off. After I installed the ME kit, the truck now sounds like construction equipment. When driving through a tunnel, its fun to roll down the windows and give it some gusto! Sounds incredible.

I think I'm going to use my die grinder and cut slits in the muffler flange to get it off....
I received my pipe today. It came with one clamp that has the hanger welded to it. I already bought two 4" stainless band clamps to to use to make the connections. Is the rear hanger for the rear of the pipe needed? I can see the need for the muffler needing the rear hanger...

It is needed. There will be too much play in the exhaust system otherwise. Youll see when you pull the muffler. At least there was on my truck.

Got my muffler delete pipe installed this evening. It took about 1 1/2 hours.
I used two 4" stainless band clamps which made for a clean looking job. I installed the clamp w/hanger which came with the delete pipe to the rear of the rear 4" band clamp to us as a hanger.
Sounds good, looks good. I'm happy..
