Yes clutch advise again

Few questions for the guru's.
Basically looking for an oe replacement clutch for my 05 w/ the G56 tranny. the current stocker has 260,000 on it and slips on the regular when you put your foot in it. Can't run the edge box any higher than setting 1. I really wanted a south bend , but really don't have a grand to drop and the truck has 260 k on it who knows how long i will have it for.

I found this Valeo clutch kit don't know if it fits the truck? Valeo 53301405 Solid Flywheel Conversion Kit for 500 bucks.

Any other suggestions around this price point?

Or point me to a thread on this subject.

Thanks guys

If you are close to Louisville, KY, I would recommend KY clutch. They can build you any kind of clutch you want at a good price.

A friend of mine did the same Valeo setup with the single mass flywheel and all and it held up fine.......until he added 100hp injectors and a Smarty, now he can slip pretty easy. If you keep it stock it works great.

Yeah,my Valeo worked fine until I upped the Smarty to sw#5.
To be honest the stock dmf held better.

I've got a SBC OKHD in there now.
Pretty smooth with a little more pedal pressure.
