That is news to me. Where did you hear that? I thought all I could ever get from mine was 65hp.

I made a request of Quad when the upgrade program first started. To be able to upgrade the XZT to the standand . You would have to pay for the 2 series additionally pay extra for the standard and pay for a new harness ( because the XZT harness will not work with the satndard).

Quad said he would see what he could do. At that time he was very busy with all the exchanges and trying to get the new harness. He said he would lets us know when he got everything work out.

So if you want to go from a X2 XZT to a 100 hp standard box you are probably better off in the long run to just sell your box and buy the X2 Standard box. I would think by the time you pull your X2 XZT and harness off and send them in to get the upgrade and pay shipping both ways and the cost of the upgrade and harness it would not be worth just selling your XZT and buying a X2 Standard. Unless Quad makes it worth while by trading in the X2 XZT.

Hope I'm correct on this? If you already have the X2 xzt or STD and wish to up grade to a X2 STD or Race you fill out the online form with credit card info and once payment recieved its sent via email and you just update your X2 module. Hope this is correct. Just call Quad and ask.

I was told by Quad himself and his shop that I can not upgrade my old XZT to the standard x2, I can only upgrade it to the XZT x2. I read the old posts that he was looking into so I assume he looked and decided no.

I also asked when I upgraded my XZT tow 65hp, if I could upgrade to more power (standard or race) and was told; I could only get the XZT 2, now I'm wondering why I did it. Two weeks go by and now they just sent me a card to extend the warranty for another $50. I'm not trying to down the product, I'm very happy with what it does, but I should have just sold the thing and bought a new standard.
