I have a question for you 03 SO owners running the XZT. I am looking into this chip for its tow safe operation. I was wondering how you guys like it as you know how these SO trucks are compared to the 600/610 motors. I am also wondering what kind of EGT's you all are seeing while pulling and regular driving? I am more interested in the SO owners because of how they run a little cooler than the 600/610 trucks. Im also interested in hearing from the 03-04 HO trucks. I know i should get gauges and I will. But i need a bigger truck and i am thinking of trading or selling mine so i don't know if i should install gauges yet and take a chance bringing the price down since someone might think the truck was abused or somthing... so if anyone could help me out and tell me what kind of temps i would expect to see with the XZT i would appreciate it. I towed my empty 4500lb trailer last weekend and my EGTs were just the same as with my EZ box which is only like 800 degrees while driving normal. I didn't have a load on it so I can't tell you how high the temps would be.
