Ok,
Tell me what you think....
I just installed my XM Radio in my dash and I think it turned out pretty good. I went to auto zone and bought (of all things) a battery box and cut out the side of it. Just enough to cover the cubbyhole underneath the air cond. controllers. I took the back of the cubbyhole off and sandwiched it in between the front of the dash cut out and the cubbyhole pocket. Then cut the middle of the cover covering the cubbyhole and installed the XM Controller.
If you notice the Ipod with the FM transmitter is in the top 12V accessory.

Tell me what you think....

I love the install! Notice where you have your Prodigy installed... is that angle too steep or does it still work there? If so, I'll put mine there.
On a similar note, anyone have a suggestion for where to put my CB?! It's big, and I'm having a hard time figuring out a good place for it where it's out of the way but still accessible.

the brake controller works fine there. i can't remember what the exact angle is that you can't use it but it works fine in this location.
one item of note. if you do mount it there, mount it a couple of inches lower than i have mine. my keys hit the brake controller while i am going down the road and it drives me crazy.
i will mount it a little lower once i get time.

I just installed my new stereo. I got a new head unit (Clarion) with a sirius tuner. So, I still have my cubby hole. In addition to that, it also has aux inputs. So, I ran a cable out to hook up the ipod. It's very nice, as we don't have to deal with the FM Modulators on both the sirius side (we had a plug-and-play unit) and the ipod.
Looks very nice, tho. Your ipod is definately closer than mine (as mine is in the cubby hole).

i have sirius,,the sanyo model you"ll find a t walmart,,it has a big suction cup mount for the wind shield,,just so happens that the suction cup and the lever to make it suck fit perfectly in the cubby hole and stays in place with the lever up,,ran the wires thru a hole i drilled behind the cup holder into the bottom of the cubby hole, can angle the sirius up and towards me, so i have a perfect line of vision for the digital readouts,,if i knew how to get a pic in here i would,,but i don"t
