X-monitor zeros or frozen?

I've had several situations where my x-monitor starts up and just displays all zeros for trans, pyro and boost. This can be fixed by a quick power down/power up. Anyone else seen this?

Saturday, after running fine for 5 hours it froze with readings for each function. Again, the fix was a quick power down/power up.

Anyone know what's up? Seems like a software glitch to me.

Bad ground?

I would call BD, I hear their tech line is very good.

yep, calling BD was a next step.
easy to find the number it scrolls each time you turn it on, nice touch.
I was just hoping I could tell them I knew what others had seen or done.
Glad to hear their Tech Support is good
Guess I'll add that call to my list...

Mine did that a couple of times. Redid the ground and the power lead and it hasn't done it again (yet).

Check your power leads....

Mine has done it just twice but what bugs me is that the alarm values that I set creep up or down (depending on the alarm) all by themselves. I've had no luck with the BD tech line. They couldn't even tell me where to put the fuel pressure fitting and swore that what I was describing on my truck was not possible. Turns out the picture that they swore was right (and according to them I was wrong) was of an '02 and not an '03. Thanks to Geno's garage for helping me solve this mystery. Boooooo on BD.
