Well, a few days ago I finally had the chance to get some official 1/4mi. times. Now before I tell you all what she ran I have to say that till now I would always use the Attitude Monitor to test my upgrades and such. So far the best time I have ever posted using the monitor as a gauge of performance only has been a 14.1@103mph. Some have told me the monitor could be off up to a 1/4sec. so I always figured I was in the high 13's. Boy was the monitor off big time!!! But was I upset? Heck no!!! Heres my official best time at Speedworld in PHX, AZ.

Not bad for a 1st timer at a 1/4mi. track and the type of mods I have hugh? So is this typical of the error factor some are seeing with the Attitude Monitor 1/4mi. times vs. real world #'s?

Well, I'd be more interested if you told us you outpulled a Duramaxipad pulling 15,000lbs up a long grade.

Drag racing is for sissies! Just kidding . Sounds like good times. Don't know much about the Edge monitor for the 3rd gens, but I am interested in getting some of their products.

SS, That is an amazing time with a stock turbo and stock lift pump.....what were your peak EGTS and boost. The Edge is taking info from the ECM and those boxes are playing with everything. To be off they must be off on the speed sensor...do you have bigger tires than stock. ks

 

Egt's got to 1620*, fuel pressure was zero from 150ft. on, and no. I still have factory size tires. I won't be doing anything like this again until I at least get my Walbro LP kit installed, cause I don't want to destroy the CP3. And only very limited use after that until I get my turbo upgrade. Once I get all that, I will quit the modding, go to the track, see what I can run, then never go back once I get my times and proof on paper.
