Wiring for Dipricol Gauges

I'm going wire my gauges and I'm tapping into the dimmer switch, just wondering how some of you have done it? Do I just tap into that with one wire and run it over to the gauges and splice them all into that one wire or what? Any suggestions would be very helpful. Also is it good to put a fuse in there somewhere?

Yes, I just ran one wire down to the headlight switch and then did all my splicing up in the A pillar.
