Just bought an 06 and wanting to upgrade intake first just want to know whats best

I am running a Scotty 5. I have had it on the truck for about 10,000 miles now. I am happy with it. It makes the turbo sound nice! I clean it every 5,000 miles (twice now) and it seems to be doing its job rather well. I have Edge juice/attitude coming in monday, so hopefully it will make an even larger improvment with this addition.

I did see about 1/2 - 1 mpg increase (hand calculated) after the install. Not a huge difference, but that combined with lower EGTs and the nice little whistle I can hear from the turbo makes me glad I went with it.

 

Is there only one person on this board running a scotty 5!!!!

 

I have one and love it. I have used K&N before but I like this one better. It is a nice upgrade for the edge w/att
