I just put bushwacker flares on my 2004.5. I had to remove the front badge by the lights to do so. Now that they r off how and where do i put them? What kind of double sided tape do i use?

 

Put them right below the mirrors like the newer trucks.

 

do u have a pic. you mean the 2008s?

 

I dont have a pic but all the 06 to 08 have them right in front of the door under the mirror.

 

or better yet...leave it off and add 2nd gen badging that has "cummins turbo diesel" on it........

Mine went nicely on top of the empty milk carton in the trash can!

 

Here is a picture of mine with flares and the C relocated. You can't see it very well but it gives the general location. It really does look a lot better than by the headlight.

Put them on your tool box in the garage. Then you won't have to be a rolling advertisement. Debadged is the way to go. Very clean and stealth.

Why would you need to tell everyone what brand of engine you have in there?

 

I`ve often thought about replacing mine with some HEMI badges...just for fun

 

Use a 3M double sided tape. You should be able to purchase it from any Pepboys or Autozone and O'Rileys. I'd put it on the front fender just in front of the driverside door like the 06's.

 

that or ditch them completely and put one on the tailgate and call it a day...

 

Get ya a couple of these instead!
