Wheel Backspace ???

What will a 9 in. rim with -12mm look like?? I have a 2wd and I don't want the wheel/tire to stick out too far if at all. If some one has an idea please let me know, THANKS

it would help if you knew the BS as well. i used to have 9" wide Motos with -12 mm offset and 4.53" BS, and even with fender flares they still stuck out quite a bit.

That wheel should have around 4.5" backspacing. Depending on the tire width they will stick out quite a bit. This link will give you some generic offset/BS numbers. https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html

Thanks. My tires are like new and 'stock' style, same numbers and E rated, so if they are out too much they're going back. If it's less than 2" I think I can deal with it. I won't mount the tires if it's more. I really like the look of the rim, never saw them around here. I like to be diff. from the crowd.

They will probably be around 2" farther out than stock, maybe a little bit more. Some like the look and if you add flares you will keep the mud and rocks off.

flares with about 2.5" of coverage left quite a bit of tire exposed on mine.
current wheels are 8.5" wide with 5" BS, and 35" Toyo MT's line up almost perfect with the flares.
