What's undetectable?

Looking for minimal power boost that's undetectable by the dealer?

I heard they can tell if the key has been cycled with the tuners.

What about a power puck or something similar? Would it also help my fuel mileage. I'm looking for both.

It's a new truck - really don't want to pay for any potential problems that would be covered under normal warranty. If it had 100k on it, it would be a different story.

As far as I know, Smarty is the only one that is completely undetectable unless they REALLY get digging into the fueling history. The key count isnt a problem since the smarty tracks the key cycles and then when the truck is returned to stock, it puts the new key on count into the ecm.

Now I know why they call it a Smarty!

...and why it's sooo pricey!

smarty does more than crank up the power. adjusts for tire size, reads/clears ecm and abs codes, enables high idle......
constant updates/better programs available on the website.
go to www.madselectronics.com and look at the downloads page and check out all the different flavors of FREE downloads to tailor the downloaded program to your mods.

the Quadzilla XZT is a great mod for an otherwise stock truck. If removed before going to the dealer, its undetectable

I would say for what he asks the puck or the XZT would both work. For the puck to do what you want you will want a boost fooler as well to keep the egt's down on the upper end. You will also want to avoid the higher setting on it.

Am I understanding that the Power Puck is undetectable if you remove it before going to the dealer?

on a 600 series truck it should be. You would have to ask them to be positive but, I see no reason it should not be.

On a 03-04 truck if you use a boost elbow or anything similar then you would also need a boost fooler or the dealer will see the overboost code and the recorded max boost which is no bueno.

Please tell us more as it has always been assumed the Quad could not be found on a dealer scan.
This has been quoted many times by Quad as well as others..
If you can confirm this for a fact it would be an amazing discovery and a surprise to many I am sure.
