What's the Bigest Tire!

What's the biggest tire I can stuff on a 2006 long bed 2 wheel drive with stock 17"rims. I do have a 2 inch leveling kit I'm installing on the front. Any help would be great.

BFG AT KO is one. It is load range D, but it is rated for the same weight capacity as stock. I like mine.

He has a 2 wheel drive. the size you mentioned will fit on a 4x4 with a leveling kit. Do you really think it will fit on a 2wheel drive? Just curious.

I know a few people said that 315's rub without a leveling kit, my 305's have lots of room, and they have a pretty aggressive tread.

I run the BFG M/T's, 35x12.50 load range D. They ride great and look awesome.

You guys are negliecting to realize he has a 2WD, which is significantly lower than a 4x4. I'd say 285 would be the largest with the leveling kit, but I have zero experience with a 2WD.

I agree. But the 285 may be pushing it.

ooops... I missed that one. Yeah, a 285 would probably be max on a 2wd. I'm going to try Toyo m/t's when I need new tires

I have an 06, 4x4, with no leveling kit. Looking to see how big of a tire i can stuff on the stock rims? perferably an agressive tread but not to sound like a small aircraft taking off. haha. thanks for your time guys

I've got 37's, BFG MT KM2 under my truck. I would not recommend it, tho. The best tire I've ran to date was a 305 70 17. 35's rubbed a little, 37's rub a lot!

I have a Goodyear Wrangler GS-A 37X12.5X17 on stock wheels. It only rubs on the control arms at full lock so I just back off slightly.

I had to trim the air dam back and push the pinch weld in a bit with my 33's on a 2wd with 2.5" lvl kit. I am really glad I didn't try to cram 35"s in there. However I did get wider rims also.
