what smarty to dyno with
what smarty to dyno with
hey guys hopefully this weeked ill be goin to the dyno just wondering what program you think will work best with my setup in signature. Im currently running beta 4.2, should i try tnt? can i support tnt/r? whats your opinions.
The 4.2 and 4.4 should have close peak numbers, the main differance is the curve.
Stock sticks and a cp3 kit, your rp is gona be through the roof more than likey, you need to get a rp guage if you dont have one and keep an eye on that b4 you blow your rv or worse.
I would NOT use the R unless you have springs, and I dont know if you got enough supporting mods to run tnt, it seems that the betas make more power on less modified trucks than the tnt programs.
If you got a lot of time for tuning you could try tnt, if not I would just run a beta of your likeing.

I always think it is cool to dyno what ya' like to run around the streets. I dynoed my truck some time ago, 4.4/level 9. Now that summer is here, and I am not liking the large increase in smoke, I will be tryin g some REVO's.
When I did dyno my truck, there was a really nice guy who dynoed his truck on the crazy larry. He said it was a pain to drive around town in that tune. He did do 501/1030 I think. Great numbers, and good to know, but I am more interested in how trucks do with tunes that are cool to drive around town using.

I wouldn't push past 25k psi. I don't have mine set on the gauge, I have my gauge more as a monitor, not an alarm. Low zone I would set at 4500k, but that's just me.
I'd say Beta 4.4 or 4.2....don't see a lift pump in the sig...think that'll get ya with TnT / Revo...and as others have mentioned....turbo, although, at least for street duties, the stocker does fine for me on the street (w 4.4)

wanna borrow a tst to through at it too?
