few weeks ago there was big talk on this tunable cummins programmer/box/tuner? what happened or is happening on the development of this creature? i'm getting antzy for some go fast goodies. really like what has been said of this thing and am waiting as long as i can but i'm itching to go smarty. if its close to efi live for duramax its worth waiting a year but if its not all its hipped up to be then i don't know. getting filter and exhuast and commander soon. want some more stuff soon also. love to hear some more new news.

 

stay tuned for this weekend. From what I understand there is going to be some custom tuning done on the guys truck on a dyno with sheets for proof finally, if he makes it. LOL

VanAaken is flying their developer and tuning guy in Thursday for a dyno day I have set up to do some custom tuning on several beta tester's trucks . To say I'm excited about this opportunity is an understatement.
The first time on the dyno with the tunes I have now my truck made 589hp at only 38psi boost in the high setting, no other boxes or downloaders. In the lower setting I have it made 475hp at 50psi. We shall see what Saturday brings .

Here they are .

My truck was one of the beta test trucks and I made 616hp 1163tq uncorrected. This was on an 03 Cali SO with Flux 2's, helix 2, Floor it Stage 2, Htt Quickdiesel 64 Turbo.

The guys from VanAaken were great , a good time was had by all that attended. Especially those that got a chance to try out the tuning .

There was another tester that beat my numbers by over 100hp 150tq , I'll let him post his own results.

 

definately impressive to watch, even if I do not have their box, if I had a tranny, I tell you, this would be at the top of my list of go fast goodies.

I would say by the end of May.

I was told in the 700-800 dollar range.
