what gear to use?
usually pull with my 35" tires on in 4th gear (low) and at about 75 feet I am tapped out in rpms floating the valves all the way down the track.
You think I can pull in 5th (Low)?
Last year I did one pull with My 37" tires in 4th Low and about half track I was tapped out in rpms floating ther valves.

I pull 4th 4-lo and I do the same. I run down the track at 3,900-4,000 rpm. I like bein in the top of the rpm. I wanted to try 5th but scared I wouldn't get all the rpm I want. What's your gear ratio?
Here's a vid from last weekend. 356 feet for 1st

I have 3:73's I would like to get more rpms but it only goes up to 3,600. I have a 60lb boost gauge and the boost i figure goes up to about 62 or 63 its hard to tell.
