depends on the turbo, you will need injectors especially with a larger turbo, I am not a fan of stacking boxes

Bout 10 grand!
Not at all. You can have a reliable 500hp for about half that in an auto and even less with a manual.

Maybe. I'm not sure it would make it....even if it was melting pistons.

Turbo - doesn't need to be large, 2 boxes OR 1 box and small injectors, clutch, lift pump and you may or may not need to upgrade the cp3, and of course gauges to monitor everything.

Come on, help the guy out. If you know of a good combination and would like to share please do.

Obviously, you will need some clutch work to handle the power, so you could start there.

You'll need some type of fuel system upgrade, that could be next.

Can't help on the power part, I'm in the same boat. Trying to find a single box/turbo combination that will make ~500 rwhp and still drive and tow well.

Good luck !!!

i ran 550hp and 1016tq. with my truck with only a smarty a set of 80hp injectors and a fass 150 pusher pump. all on the stuck clutch,cp3 and turbo.

not the most towing friendly set up but it made the numbers.
to get what you want and still have a very drivealbe truck that can tow. i would get a small set of injectors, a sps62 turbo, the new beta smarty, a decent lift pump, and a SBC CON OFE clutch. that will put you at and easy 500hp all day, and with a very reliable rig that still gets great fuel milage and tow like a dream.
