What cold air intake to buy?

I just want to see what cold air and filter kit you guys recommend. I'm not worried about noise, just want to get the most power from one.
Thanks, Jim

i gave my K&N system away due to the tubro always being dirty.

maybe i was over oiling, maybe i held the loud down too long.

turbo always had some black stuff on fins, i used stuff to clean it, always had more. tired of worrying about it.

i will NOT use an oiled filter again, on any of my vehicles.

If you've got money to burn you can always get the AFE stage 2. No matter what you do you won't get a phenomenal power increase with any intake just more turbo noise.

I'm running the ICEBOX and love it. They use the AMSOIL Nanofiber air filters, so they don't need oiling. www.iceboxmanufacturing.com is the website. TDR has a writeup on them in the latest magazine.

oil filters can thow your MAF (mass air flow) sensor and render your truck in operable. oiling is a PITA for some folks too

+1 for the Icebox. Yea, it costs loads more than a do-it-yourself project, but for my new truck I'm willing to pay extra for a well made & REALLY good looking set-up. Easy install, and one of the largest & best filters available. I run it with a Cool Black Hose.

That cool black hose looks nice in there! I hear that ICEBOX is also offering a new torque tube to replace the factory one now.

yikes. $322 is steep for half of an air intake.
or is $322 with the new tube down to the turbo?
that's a lot of coin

doesn't the VOLANT truly draw air from only the fender well & get air from outside engine compartment?

that icebox is pretty well open around the front edge.

now that i think of it, i gave away an AFE to my son in law...
he said it was the Stage 2 after he had researched it.
