so I have been thinking about getting a different chip for my truck and was wondering what I could safely go with without damaging anything.

First off the truck is a 2003 5.9 with around 70K miles. I have a cold air intake, I removed the muffler and have 6 inch stacks. I do tow a boat and plow in the winter, and run 35 inch pro comp A/Ts. I currently have an edge box (not in use) and have a quadzilla 3 stage box on the truck now.

I would love to do some other mods to the truck in the future so keep that in mind when recommending something, I dont know when and to be honest it could be a year or more before I get around to it.

Now I was thinking about going with the smarty jr but wonder if there would be something else that I could grow with like smarty.

Also is there a recommended place to order from? I did a quick google search and was going to just go with one of those

You would be very happy with the Smarty Jr if all else stays close to stock. If you plan on getting mild to crazy in the future, you will be better off with the Smarty Sr. You can can actually get a lot out of the Jr and supporting mods though. I know I will not go crazier than the Jr. can support.

 

Ruffles cause they have ridges, they are my favorite chips.

Seriously, Ray get a Smarty you can run it on the lower levels until you decide to upgrade further, cause you will . Good luck.
