Question What cha think?

Before: With mud guards & no stack

[IMG][/IMG]

Current: Without mud guards & a new 6" stack.....

[IMG][/IMG]

I'm thinking maybe dual 6" miters would look better......

i think the stacks would look better if they were miter cut instead of the bull horns. also i agree with hottapper1 no nerf bars.

53 ******

My hole is cut dead center of the bed & I then piped it over to the passenger side. The stack is actually mounted about 4" in (toward the rear sliding window).....its not actually in the corner of the bed side/front.

Here's another shot....

I think your truck looks great as is. I have asked this question before and have never reallly gotten a straight answer yet though. Is there any performance or power gains by adding stacks vs. the "normal" rear or side exits under the trucks,,or is it just a personal preferance thing. Nothing against the stacks to those that have them at all, but I just would like to know what is the point of using up bed space in the truck for exhaust. Nice truck BTW.

I'd do a single stack just like yours if I did it. I just have one turbo, I don't need two exhausts. Besides, I have a toolbox I don't want to do without and I don't like the "workarounds". I was never a fan of nerf bars until I noticed the beating the side of my seat was taking sliding in and out without them. That convinced me. Also, I never liked mud flaps but I got sick of the stock tires pitching pea gravel down the side of the truck. Since I've changed tires, I may pull them off.

I'm not a fan of the brite rockers, but they look fine on a light-colored truck like yours.

Your truck looks good.
