Since I let the smoke out of my old Cobra 29, I need to replace it. Im trying to stay under 160 bucks. I like what Galaxy has to offer in that price range. Particularly the DX949. What do you guys think about it and do any of you have one?

Well it depends on How many Channels and features you want...Or if you want echo/reverb. I switch back and forth between a Magnum S-9 and a Galaxy 99V I also have a Galaxy 93T which I use in the house.

OK I went simple and installed a Cobra one-hander, works great and doesn't take any room. Pics of install on web page.
