I am getting ready to purchase and install a set of airbags on the rear. Just wondering what brand everyone out there is running, how they're set up and where to purchase? has anyone tried the new pacbrakes bags? thanks jared

 

Just installed Firestone Ride Rite's seem to work great so far, reasonable price from summit. If your after best off road performance probably try the carli bags..

 

I used the Airlift brand Super duty model on mine and a few others as well.

 

firestones are my personal favorite. easy to install and no problems what-so ever

I just installed the firestones yesterday and it was easy and they work great. I will be towing with them in a couple weeks.

 

I've run the Airlift on my last 3 trucks.No problems with any of them.Never needed more than 40psi of air to haul my loads.They will take up to 100psi!

 

The only bag ive got cleans the kitche....OUCH. I deserved that.

I have the air lifts in the Durapoo but thats only cause they were installed before I bought that junk. My wife and I both hate it even though it always runs (cause it has NO MODS) and I would get rid of it if my truck would get fixed finally.

As far as the bags, they leak, there is a light burned out of one of the gauges and the compressor kicks on every morning when its cold since they take turns leaking more air than the other every night. I cant even tell they make any difference even set on 80 (which takes like 10 min. of holding the button to get them there.

When I lift I will be talkin to Thuren to see which is the best way. Maybe he uses Carli's bags.

I had Firestones on my old truck, might try the Pac Brakes on this one (unless the Firestones are a lot cheaper)

 

Not much difference...Maybe a little Stiffer
