What Additive and What pump/filter to use?

I have just purchased an 06 5.9L, with 11,949 miles. I am concerned about using ULSD Fuel. I really have two questions: 1) Should I add additive with each tankful to insure the pump gets lubed properly? and 2) Should I put a high volume electric fuel pump & filter system on the truck? If so what brand, and what PSI/GPH should I purchase and install?
Thank You

If you can, run a gallon of bio in your truck with each tank. Nothing adds lubricity to your fuel better than bio (given its available near you). Alot of people have alot of issues and mixed feelings with Howes Meaner Cleaner, Power Service or any other additive out there. I personally run about a 60% biodiesel mix in my truck and cant speak from experience on additives. I tried them and read all the nightmares about them and it scared me. Plus with Bio I like how it keeps the fuel system clean. But thats just my opinion, take it for what its worth.

On edit: Alot of people have issues or quirks on bio also. But I know that there is no acetone or any other chemical of the sort in bio that could make my fuel "dry".
