so i went to the track the other night and ran a 14.2@ 91 consistantly with my truck ... with 20 gal.tank of fuel, 15 more in the tank in the back and a tool box full of tools..... i was kinda disapointed with the numbers ....and i also noticed that my truck was pulling well untill it went into O/D then it fell on its face.... the boost was at 28 psi and my CEL came on .....im ordering a quadzilla fooler today to see if that will help... i was also launching in 2wd cause i need a new upper balljoint in the front and didnt want to be sitting at the 60 ft line like the guy that was ahead of me and broke both of his tie rod ends .... even if it was a ford ...... lol thanks for the input

Let me get this straight, you are disappointed with a 14.2 on a 3500 4x4 with a load of tools and fuel and 285's and your only fueling mod is a Triple Dog with a Crazy Larry? What am I missing here??

sorry lol ......i guess i was expecting more cause i did some runs using the out look and i was doing low 13's ....kinda figured that it was off a little... it was nice staying with a gutted nova with slicks on the back ,and a 120 lb guy driving it , untill it went into OD.... i was going to run with my 9' v-plow on the front but i dont think the track would like that very much..... jk

Just ran a 9.02 in the 8th with just a smarty jr. Not too bad for my truck.

my 660ft time was about the same ......im just hoping that the fooler will help at the end of the track....
