well i sent my superchip back to florida because it would not perform like i was told it would. it makes great power but wasnt doing the things i wanted. so that was a week and a half ago and i almost dread driving my truck when its stock. i dont remember this thing being so gutless. not to flame people w/ stock trucks, but it just feels like it has no power. im not sure if i just got used to the extra 100hp or something w/ the SC made it less powerful?

so to cure the need for speed, i ordered my SMARTY w/ 2nd day air this morning. thanks dtr store. i will keep everyone posted on how the smarty performs on my truck.

it was starting to get bad. all i could think about was what kinda performance mod i was going to go w/. and i couldnt wait any longerit was all i thought about at work and at home. besides i have missed several great opportunities to smoke some dill holes on the highway. reason enough for me!!

sorry for being so long winded. anybody else have a similar experience

Its a terrible thing isnt it,, luckily there are several support groups for this addiction,,, edge, smarty, diablosport, bullydog, to name a few,,,,,, lol

I feel your pain I am trying to up grade my truck and get more power and i just need a credit card with a unlimited spending limit that someone else pays for ! But sometimes you just have to pace yourself and try not to rip out your hair while your waiting.

 

haha thanks. im sure i could of done alot with the money i spent on the smarty, but the fact that its not detectable is awesome. i wish i had enough to drop on a tranny right now but its holding great and i am not going to rag on it very often i hope. so maybe itll last

Be careful or you'll end up like me. Single and broke cause you ran your girlfriend's off from talking about the truck so much and because you spent every penny you own on the darn thing. But boy it sure is fun to drive.
