sorry I missed your post some how...
yeah I think we can do a t-handle..but the part that worries me is the fact that the t-handle is small so it would leave the whole tapper on the shift rod exposed...might not look as clean as the thicker **** would look...but I guess it is all personal preference....
I got a old B&M t-handle I will put it on mine and show you what I mean.....

haha I know...if you saw the lathe I made this **** on you would laugh it's a dinosaur...and not the old school big heavy duty cast dinosaur lathes that work for 100 years it is like a 100 year old harbor freight lathe
the new ***** dont have the nipple...
thanks for the tip I am far from a machinist...and I need all the tips I can get...

I did not read all 75 pages of this thread, but.........

What about a threaded billet rod extender shaft for the tcase shifter?

Maybe like a 3" extension rod would put the tcase lever at a better level.

my buddy made me mine out of aluminum, but just because i like it not for race purposes so i don't know how much it weights or nothing, still working on a matching one for the t-case.
