Does Devilsown have an EGT-based controller yet?

If you want the absolute best, I would go with an EGT-based controller.

Devilsown works off your MAP sensor. Two adjustments on in cab controller let you decide at what boost level the pump turns on and what boost level pump is at max pressure. I went this route because if I see higher egt's at lower boost, I didn't want to be spraying. Does that make sense? I don't want spray to start until 15 to 20 psi and that's the way I have it set up.

Hey trik396. I'm looking at a water kit (just joined the boards on Devilsown webiste to ask this question) and I was wondering if it's possible to run two pumps, one per nozzle, with one controller? I don't think the 150psi pump will be enough for what I want, so thats why I was eyeballing the Snow kit with a 220psi pump.

They have the new voltage based controller which is supposed to be able to read a pyro and you can tweak it from there. I would run it off the boost sensor though. I am getting a Devilsown kit here soon, I have one on the car and really like it. They also have that new outside mount nozzle so you dont have to worry about the nozzle working loose and getting swallowed up.

Does anyone know where you can get a 2-3 gallon tank that fits under the hood?

The EGT-based controllers also operate off of boost so that won't happen. You can choose if you want EGT with boost as a back-up, or boost with EGT as a back-up.

I haven't used their newer EGT-based controller, but IMO Coolingmist makes the best product. I have used their outside mount nozzles and they're the only way to go. The other ones are a major PITA.

Coolingmist Stage 2 EGT here!

Stage 1 comes on at 1125 EGT , Stage 2 & Full pump duty cycle at 1250. Boost refrenced so either stage cant spray untill it sees whatever boost number you choose. Even if you choose 5psi its progressive! so it wont bog down the motor.
Both stages of EGT and boost are adjustable for whatever you choose.

I love the kit cools down 200+ when it kicks on. I dont use it now with the twins though. No need

I'm running a DevilsOwn kit but I used a couple of 625 jets from Snow since the DO jets were the 2 piece design. Works great and if you want more pressure just adjust the allen screw in the bottom of the pump.

I have the snow stage 2 kit. So far (8 months) I had to replace 2 of the control mods. The first one failed to work when I got it and the second one stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Should have went with the digital in cab module.

Otherwise, the pump and injectors work great. I tapped into my windshield washer fluid tank and that still ain't large enough. I got my boost settings set at 17 to 36. The twins suck it hard.

he told me if I need more flow I could upgrade to a 220 pump and also to a 3/8 supply line to two nozzles.

Not under the hood, but these work great when mounted inside a toolbox...

You might recognize the first one from some other sites. It's about 4X's cheaper though.

Has anyone taken out a battery to put in a water tank? I always plug in my truck below 40*F so I dont think that would be an issue. Not to hi-jack, but has anyone put 1 big battery, like a group 31 and been OK with it?
