Want Rims + tire combo that does not stick out

I want to purchase new rims and tires for my 03. I would like either 17 or 18 rims with the stock tire size 265-70 but the main goal is so the don't stick out past the fender. I am very confused as I have searched on the site but haven't found really answers, just got confused. If you have a combo that works please tell me what kind of rim, size and offset you have.

Stick to a 9" wide wheel or less, and go with 5.75-6"s of backspacing, theyll stick out a hair, but not more than stock, if you can find a wheel with 6.18 theyll be perfect( XD Hoss comes in 5.71(17s) and 6.18(20s) backspacing)

No problem, heck find some wheels you're looking at, post the specs and I can kinda help/tell you if theyll stick out or not...

That was my big deal when I bought the XD Hoss' for my last truck, I wanted a nice aftermarket wheel that didnt stick out further than stock.

What wheels do you have now?
If you don't want your tires to stick out I'd stick with factory wheels. You can get stock polished aluminum wheels pretty cheap in the classifieds.

I just put some 35's on H2's on and they stick out too much for my liking but I like the looks of them so I'm putting on some ATS flares.

Most after marked wheels I've seen stick out past the fenders.

I have the stock steel rims with the chrome now and have looked around for the polished aluminum wheels locally but no luck. A junk yard had 2 for $150 each, and I figured I could get a set of aftermarkets for a few dollars more.

I saw that, it was not local to me but I also did not look there for a while. I sent out a few e-mails before and did not have any luck in the classified. I kink of wish that after 30 days the seller would have to re-post the ad so we would actually know if it still for sale.

mad,

Do these stick out too much for you? H2s with 285/75s.

Its hard to tell from photos but it appears that they stick out about an inch?
They look good though and I see that you have locking hubs as well. When it comes to the 265 stock to the 285 that you are running, that means the tire is wider right?

Also a question was looking at a rim with a 5.21 backspacing 17x9 with a +6mm off set. What do you think? for tires I'm looking at General at2's or Hankook atm's
