Waiting for parts sucks ***....

Ive been without my truck for 2 weeks now as im waiting for parts from bosch in Germany. I need a Rail pressure sender and a FCA regulator for the bosch pump. WOW this wait sucks. If any1 hasnt replaced either of these yet order them now and stock up. I just cant believe that businesses dont stock up anymore on parts. This is nuts im almost tempted to trade it off and buy brand new

all i know is when these 2 senders went at the lake i was a laughing stock as a FORD 6.0l towed me home. The lake was full of 7.3 and 6.0 powerstrokes that started when the key was turned. I miss the feeling of being able to start your vehicle when you are 500 miles from home.

How many of each do you want? 3949988 pressure sensor dealer net 142.65 4932457 actuator 71.77 dealer net. Tons available at the local warehouse here in PA. Do yourself a favor and put your ESN in your cell phone under Cummins. It would have saved you 2+ weeks and probably a ton of cash.

good link ! it's just as easy to go to Cummins though and avoid those mark ups. The pump is $250 more than Cummins. They're in business for a reason though :-)

i payed $150 for the fca regulator and I payed $387 for the rail sender. Do you think im getting the whole rail or just the sender? The engine serial number is on my valve cover right?

I bet 387 is just the sensor. The serial number should be on the valve cover. 04.5 should start out like 569-570xxxxx
