Im fairly fuel system retarded, how should I go about checking the preassure. Please dont tell me I gotta drop the tank again or anything crazy like that. Also what is the end result of increased system preassure? I never installed a fuel preassure gauge because the idiot that installed mine sold me a gauge that only reads up to 15 psi so I never installed it. I suppose at some point I should address that issue. Possibly when I build my stainless fuel tank.

On a side note is there anyone you have seen that makes an aftermarket fuel gauge for the aux. fuel tank im building. I know Zylstra makes one that is a pretty nice looking digital unit but only if you buy the whole tank and all. I am building a box that holds more fuel, water/meth/both starting batteries and a small storage compartment along with having a hole offset to one side to accomidate the single 6" stainless stack I run. Therefore I dont need their tank. I was just wondering since your in the fuel accessories buisness and all I thought you might have heard of one.

Just cap/plug the broken nipple and return the fuel to a tee into the vent line or filler neck (above the FASS return or you will have a mess).

I would choose the 3/4" vent line....that is also the same place you will drain your aux tank into...

Check pressure anywhere on the pressure line between the FASS and CP3. This will let you know what pressure you are running. With our system, you should be about 13-14 PSI if you didn't adjust it.

For a sending unit....you can pick up GM style sending unit out of Jegs or Summit that work with a TON of Fuel Level Gauges. Most will define if they work with GM style sending unit....which i believe are the most popular….

Can I assume that you got your rig fixed cquest? Anyway the 3/8 line from the Fass runs into the fuel fillet tee via a metal "y" and I just "t"ed into that line about 2 inchs back of where it comes in. I dont know just normal drivin not gettin on it it seems to run same as always???

I am not up and running yet...

I am not sure what you are telling me about the Fass install...yours sounds right to me. I was just saying...you could abandon the fuel return that you broke...and dump that fuel into the main tank vent line...the 3/4" rubber line that comes off the metal portion of the filler neck.

Im downloading it now thanks 8 I'll get it eventually.

I did half of the cp3 mod today (I only modded the fca as I had to go to sears to buy a t30 torx bit so i could get to the gear housing bolts) and changed out my front and back shocks. I couldnt get my cheap camera to take good close-up pics or I wouldve done a write-up on it, probly not as thorough as yours but somethin similar. I do get a slight wide open flutter but I think that maybe becouse I havent yet done the gear part as I said. And I know it cant have anything to do with not being cleaned or sanded well enough as I really took my time. Could also be low fuel as my lights on and I dont know how far I can go now since I just extended the pick-up tube.

Thanks for the good write-up though I will do that as soon as I can get my hands on a gauge to install. No one locally sells them in my small town.
