While the engineer from Van Aaken was here on the 8th we did test a higher hp box that does pulse width instead of pressure and it worked very nice.
I will be advertised at 130 hp for non HO models.
It made 120 rear wheel hp on level 2 on the 600 HO, because it starts higher than a non HO.
This was the very first 600 HO tested with the Up and coming Van Aaken Pulse box, it is not ready for release yet, final tuning and EGT verification has to be established first then they will be put in to production.

Maybe mid summer hopefully sooner.

 

Cool!! wonder if that will have the same slick ECM connections rather than taping in at multiple points??

 

It plugs in at the ECM and if I remember correctly one other place, I thought it was the cam sensor, not sure, I didn't install it I was running the truck and the dyno, The engineer was changing out parts and playing on the lap top.

I am going to sit and stay tuned too...darn truck runs so good anyways! I guess I will just finish the exhaust and airbox by then...less rush and will give me more time to get the chopper running in tip top for the summer!
