upgrade to SB DD?

O.K. guys, need some input here! been to the strip a couple of times the past month and man is it fun! Its got me wanting a DD so that 3rd gear launches will be possible. problem is this truck is primarily used for pulling horse trailer. I dont want a bunch of jerking while backing and want to keep as close to stock feel as posible(would'nt mind a little stiffnes, but nothing excessive).Any advice would be appreciated.

Well i just upgraded to sd3600dd and it is a very smooth clutch and quit, but when it comes to backing it feels like the whole truck is hopping side ways. But all in all its a very good clutch.

I hope when I install my 3250 DD is does not back up like that. The clutch in my previous truck ended the option of my wife driving because of the jerky backing and take offs.

A 12 puck should be smoother.

I can get some hop sometimes but I could in the right situations with my stock clutch. If you got 4x4 just put it in low range and it will solve that, or if you are able just let the clutch all the way out.

Some times you have to sacrafice one thing to get another.
