Ultimate Transmission is in....

I'M BACK!

New tranny is in...purple no longer.

I got things worked out with ATS...no beef whatsoever...but just decided to take the next step. A big step.

Still dialing it in...I need to do a few tweaks to the valvebody and figure out how to make it down shift with my ATS Commander forcing lock up???
I hope it does NOT mean I have to put my ATS VB in...anyways.

New goods thanks to Dave at Ultimate Transmission (good ole' Boise ID) and Opie...

Fat Billet Shafts (Oversized input and output with standard size intermediate)
New TC to accept Fat Input.
New TC input to accept Fat Output.
6 disc clutches
Reactor Aluminum Flexplate
All the other standard bells and whistles..bands...clutch material etc etc.

I don't think I am going to break this one.

Dave is a great guy...and will work with you...which is exactley what I need. I like a higher flash on my TC to allow spool out of my still a little laggy 64/13 ontop...but not to high of stall.

Hard testing to resume as soon as the pavement drys.

I have their Commander and pan still!

It is not an ATS transmission anymore...and there was nothing wrong with any product of their's...I just wanted to go another route...closer to home.

Opie makes the shafts...they are larger diameter...more spines...and his same ole' great material/treatment.

Dave w/ Ultimate did all the other work. He is a really sharp guy...that works late nights and weekends on his tranny business. He has transmissions is a few other big hp trucks around here...

Yes...lots to the bells and whistles...just do not know which ones I should discuss...yet.

Dave needs to spend a little time on the computer...lol.

After some dyno and street time...I will take it to the strip.

He is competitive with the other big names...depends on what you want. I spent a bunch...but I feel it was fair.
