From my experience on asking this, DO NOT use tranny fluid. With todays chemicals in tf it's like adding sand to your fuel for your inj. pump and inj.. very expensive to replace.

It's a 7"x 16" bag filter. 0.5 micron rating. P/N PEMF0.5AP1S

Available from www.filtersource.com The 7"x32" is listed on the website but have to call to order the 16" version. I have asked them to add the 16" to the website.

I'm running 2-3 gallons per tank. I'm doubled bagged and running the oil through it twice (after running the oil through a larger 1 micron filter) to get the efficiency rating to over 99% @ 0.5 micron.

I haven't really noticed a change in fuel economy. Other than going an extra 40-60 miles for free.

Actually, I get mine from Academy(it's made by citgo) it's only 6.99 a gallon, as far as I can tell it's the same TCW-3 stuff that wallyworld sells.
