What are you guys seeing your mileage do when you "upgrade" to a different turbo
for example a phat shaft or comparable turbo?

I lost mpg also, but also added 295 tires and a body with more drag at the same time.

would the stock turbo in a set of twins keep the mpg up?

With all of my mods, my MPG has gone up between 3-4 MPG. The Smarty made the biggest difference because it uses more motor and less turbo.

With the Super-B I went up about a mile over-all. The spool up is just a little slower than stock. But of course I have one of the smaller/lower HP turbos. That's all I could afford at the time.

I don't think I lost mpg with the SPS66, but too many things went on at the same time to know for sure. I do know that currently with my daily driver triple stack my mileage is better than it has ever been. Not great, but much better than a year ago or so. I can guess that it is the addition of the Smarty in the stack. I average 15mpg city and 18.5-19.5 highway at 75mph depending on the terrain and wind. That is at least 2mpg better than it was for over a year after new.

My mileage dropped after I put on my turbo,, but now that I am getting used to it (not putting my foot into it so much anymore,, lol) my mileage is about the same as before.
