Turbo Tube Thingy from Geno's
Anybody using 5" pipe and tightening better check with either around the hose because When I was looking at ways to make these when I used 5" pipe on my truck I could not get it to seal! It looked like it did but when spayed with either you could here it wasn't sealing. We don't use powder coating on these, they are coated with a metalic ceramic, "CermaKrome" insulating coating and vibratory polished afterwards. This part was designed for an improvement in sound and a dress up item under the hood.I make no claims other than it looks good, and you will here a slight increase in turbo whine at lower rpm's. With the windows up you can barely tell the differance going down the road. I didn't intend for the part to be a $2 cheap part on a $40+ truck. FWI the perforated x tube is a silencer. You can't straighten out air and ask it to make a 90 degree corner and stay straight.

Ahhhh....the great inventor.
Welcome aboard Pat!! Thanks for coming over and joining our little party.
I kind of wondered about the straightening of air thing myself. Why straighten it just to turn 90 degrees??
Anyway, thanks for your input....and stick around. This place is MUCH better than TDR you know.
