my friend has a early 04 3500 2wd w/bd extream setting or even on tow the truck has instent power no lag. i have the o5 w/ bdcl 2.4.1 and edge w/additude and nothing off idle just dead spot then the tires light up. how can i get rid of the lag or most of it.

well the main reason the 04 seems lagless is because of the smaller turbo, it is almost instantaneous, but limited in its power range.

Are they both automatics, standard, ???

 

both automatic plus i got the good intake, aircleaner ,exhaust. dont get me wrong its fast but no lag would be nice. also a tripple disk tc

 

You would have more top end though. You're gonna have some sort of lag regardless, that's the nature of the beast!
