Get a small set of channel locks and adjust them so they dont squeeze the return line but are tight enough to rest on the lip above the o-rings and pull it down in place(do it from under the truck)
Man fellas I went back up to the garage and tried grease, think I got it but not sure, but Ill try the channel locks and see if it will seat alittle more!
Thanks fellas,
Buddy
Thanks fellas,

If it isn't in all the way you will have oil
every where under your truck when
you test drive it. I took a long two by four
wedged it on top of line, an slowly pushed in.
This was after I went to car wash to clean
off the oil that leaked from line not being
seated.

What I did...
I took a piece of 550 cord (heavy twine) and tied it in a loop around the oil line with enough slack to stick some 3/8ths extensions in, twisted the extensions to make it tight, then pulled down while I had a buddy reach through the wheel well with his hands on top of mine wiggling it a little. It was a pita, but it worked. I was laying on my back under the truck, and kinda did a chin up... I had one short 3" ext that I stuck in there first, and then put a couple 6" on either side...

Matt I might have to go to Napa and get some, Napa, and a Fastenal is 10 mins from my house!
I tell you what that thing had me fired up
and cause an uncontrollable array of choice words!
