I searched it and it made me feel a little better but I'm gonna go and on ask for sure.

Today it done it to me for the frist time twice and I can't make it do every time but it only does it if a give a lil peddle right before 50 when it goes in OD. I mean just a little. Here the last 2 weeks I been drivin with the crusie on bout 55 from home and back to get good mileage if that means anything.

Like if i mash to the floor in OD of even from a light and let out it won't do it but it done to twice today goin into OD. My friend drove it Saturday night and he said it did to him but he said it wasn't as bad as his 97 when its cold.

IS THIS OK??? What will happen??

I got to lookin in the search and AKram and somebody else said there dodge dealerships said it was normal.

Also the only thing done to the truck is a KN cold air system and the muffler went bye bye. Would removin the silencer ring help this cause I ben wantin to do that haven't yet.

 

Don't worry, the turbo isn't barking... it's chuffing, or phhting - which is normal.

 

Most the time I hear it just bleed boost or spool down the sisssssss sound be today it went chuff chuff then kinda made the sissssss sound only did twice.

 

the dealer told me that our trucks always have done this but when you open them up you can hear and feel it more.... when I asked if there was anything that I could do I was told "Yup, live with it," hope this helps
